what you said .. is the correct way to deal with it .. but do you think the society recieves that in a positive way??? no .. on the other hand .. when he is not able to attain his higher ambition .. that means .. he is still attached with this physical world and as swamis they are given a higher pedestal in the society, which they do not want to looose .. the comforts, respect, money, fame ..they all spoil them to hide their desires and do them secretly .. this is what happens to the swamis .. they falter when they try to step on two boats .. kamal tammud.. A swamiji or priest can always say ' i have hard time coping up with this position and practices and I want to trace back the path'. He may not be respected but no one will throw brickbats at him. It only requires courage, sincerity and sacrifice to giveup his high position. After coming back to normal stage, he can choose some easy path and go on. Celibacy or any other practice to get you higher stage. If that is not happening, it is not worth to continue that. p.s. I am only thinking at the seeker level and trying to show what would be better for him etc. | ||
