At any age in the state of Washington, an individual can consent to a termination of pregnancy," he said. And the pro life advocates in Washington are not aware of this? Apparently the pro life child was aware of it and made good use of it. (Good being a subjective word here..) I am confused here. If the child is pro life why did she consent to an abortion? Was she forced? Influenced in some fashion? When she signed a consent form, Jill figured it meant her 15 year old could go to the Ballard Teen Health Center located inside the high school for an earache, a sports physical, even birth control, but not for help terminating a pregnancy. "She took a pregnancy test at school at the teen health center," she said. "Nowhere in this paperwork does it mention abortion or facilitating abortion." No full disclosure...the mother has a case for that, but I'm still puzzled why the pro life advocate child toddled off on her own free will to have an abortion with the assistance of some third party contracted health clinic. T.J. Cosgrove of the King County Health Department, which administers the school-based programs for the health department, says it's always best if parents are involved in their children's health care, but don't always have a say. Well that's alarming to say the least. So what they are saying is involve yourself in your child's health care even though you don't have a say in it. ....? How does one involve themselves in something they have may not have a say in when crunch comes to shove? This is really weird and yurky about this as stated. Do you have anymore information on it? |
