Now the talk in overseas business circuits is about the film ‘Simha’, starring Balakrishna. Paruchuri Kireeti, the producer said that the film is going to be released in 40 theatres across USA in about 25 centers. People got shocked knowing this, looking at the market value of Balakrishna at US Box Office. It is a naked truth that Balayya’s movies hardly collect Rs 10 Lakh in USA. None of his movies collected at least Rs 10 lakh. And to make 25 prints itself costs Rs 18 Lakh (@ Rs 72,000 per print). And the transport costs will be whopping extra. People are wondering if Supreme Raju who bought overseas rights can get back the investment made on prints, at least. Nothing to speak about theatre rents etc. Balayya has market in Dubai and Sharjah for sure and this hype exercise can be done there but not in USA, say overseas experts. Some say that it is an attempt to bring hype in Indian market but nothing else.
