I think they should follow Anand movie strategy, release in 4 or 5 cities and see how it picks up. I don't know if they have any other options. Sad state of affairs. Even for Anand, I remember Shekar saying he had to go to Suresh for help with even those 4 or 5 initial thethres. | ||

3cr antey its less than a million dollars....even indie hits like memento or little miss sunshine they all cost more than 4mill doll atleast...inga korean flicks use some cuttin edge editing n sound mixing n their camera is very slick too...dont think they r made for less than cr... U can make a movie with 3r...just hire new actors n do loads of rehearsels n execute the pre production process perfectly so that when u come onto sets everything is organized n there wont be waste of reals n stuff.... Anand was also made with similar budget and they followed the same release strategy by releasing only in a selected few...it was marketed well...but when u see the quality of the movie it looks like patches n we get a feeling like we r seeing a work by an amateur....u cant get quality for 3cr man... | ||

every low budget movie has this problem....so wat u do in such cases is if ur confident about ur product...u release ur movie in selected metros in 4 or 5 theatres all over state....if the response is good the theatre owners would themselves will come forward to exhibit the bomma....this is the same problem everywhere...when u have big production houses with star sons releasing their films then there would be scarcity in theatres... | ||

Hero Raja is going the Babu Mohan way. He is taking a panga with big producers as he feels that the present system does not allow small producers to exhibit their films. He says that the theater syatem should be on the percentage basis. So in his fight for justice he has filed a complaint with the HRC against the big four, they are Allu Arvind, Ramoji Rao, Dil Raju and Daggubati Suresh. Now Raja surely knows the consequences of an act like this, his career is down the hit anyways, now it will be crushed, say a few. What is making Raja do all this? He realizes that he can never be part of any project with any of these producers and so there is no harm taking a panga with them, moreover all this is free publicity for the actor. What else does one need; people will sympathize with him and who knows he could have a hit or two under his belt with this notorious fame! Winners never cheat... even in difficult times. | ||
