In what is being seen as a rather shocking yet worth appreciating move, sources have revealed that the Information and Broadcasting ministry in New Delhi is mulling over the idea of ordering a shutdown of few News channels in Andhra Pradesh for a particular period. Apparently, the electronic media has been causing a lot of stress and sensation of trivial political issues which is sowing seeds of hatred and trouble among the people. After consulting with the experts, the government feels that a major share of the political crisis could be eased with this shutdown move. Alternatively, I&B wants to lay down few stringent measures for those channels who wish to comply and air their transmissions.
