It should be noted that 65% of Hindu make more than 75K with 43% making more than 100K. Whereas 58% of Jews make more than 75K with 46% falling in the upper 100K bracket. It is not clear from the data that these are the incomes from H1B software engineers because doctors make hell lot of money then engineers. Coming to H1B candidates, they ought to make more than 70K as per the norms of visa. For US citizens one should look at family income not individual income. This shows that the Indian Hindu Immigrants who are taken into US are mostly the best of the best. The less than 30K gang are the fewest among Hindus. You might say a few waste candidates are entering to US through H1, but still these people are enterprising in trying to be upwardly mobile and be aspirational. The peer pressure among Hindus in US is also a good driving force. | ||
