while i pay my respects to sri padmanabham here r some things i want to mention and open it for discussion 1. he was a great actor/producer/director. Perfectly said mama...Padmanabham made lot of money in his hey day...he was able to produce a movie with NTR and Savitri during those days. He made some bad movies and did not carefully invest money anduke financial crunch anubhavincharu. Having said that its the minimum courtesy of film industry to pay respects to a legendary comedian. For a person to be recognized, HE/SHE must have helped few people or inspired few people in their lifes. While, it is sad to see no one cared about Late Padmanabam garu, I don't find fault with people not attending their co-actors death especially the person has been not active in the movie industry since long time. Definitely it would have been nice for some older actors to pay their last respects to their erstwhile collegue. | ||

Atleast that’s the feeling many got after the recent incident. Yes, we are talking about the sad demise of the iconic comedian Padmanabham who ruled the roost during his peak. For someone who has done more than 500 films and teamed up with the legends of Telugu cinema, not one worthy soul came to pay last respects during the last journey. Padmanabham had been going through severe financial crunch during his last days and the rich Telugu industry failed to bother even once about him. The only solace was found in the presence of two notable names in the form of veteran Sarada and singer S P Balasubramanyam.
