I loved the deadpan comedy in this movie. The scene in which Frank goes to the AA meeting for the first time and the guy introduces himself saying "Hi I am mike, I am an alchoholic" and everyone, but Frank says "hi mike", Frank's expressions are hilarious. The cookies scene, the are you pregnant line and Irish wake - quite a few funny lines. Not like a 8.0 movie, but enjoyable enoiugh. | ||

Defiance - 3.0/5.0 - decent movie Ishquia - 2.5/5 - very weak story. Vishal's music is good. Gattaca - 3.0/5.0 - Ok movie Adurs - 2.5/5.0 - Old wine in ancient antique bottle. The wind that shakes the barley - 4.5/5 - very very good. About the IRA fight against the brits in UK you kill me - 4.5/6 - funny movie - Ben kingsley plays a recovering alchoholic. Paa - 4/5 - Liked it a lot. Abhishek, Vidya, AB are all really good. Loved mudi mudi song. All the songs feel like tamil songs though. Tridev - 2.5/ - fast forward lo 30 minutes lo choosa. chinnappudu enduku nachindo kani, ippudu naa valla kala Mumbai Salsa - 3/5 - I watched a lot of movies about contemporary india lately. This one was badly made, but had a good theme. India we knew back in 90s is not the same as the India now. Lots of scary stuff in terms of attitudes of younger generation. What's ur rashee - 3/5 - dabba cinema. Dude wants to meet 12 girls of different sun signs and pick one girl. boy is too confused. priyanka chopra heroine ela ayyindo artham kadu. hero looks like a monkey in some angles, like hrithik roshan in some angles. Poor guy has no luck. He is a decent actor, can't get a hit movie going. |
