US lo the right to keep and bear arms is a fundamental right because the constitution wanted the people to protect themselves even against the state, if and when the state becomes dictatorial and violates their individual rights.. this is considered quite important to protect themselves against the tyranny of the govt.. for similar reasons US military involvement in domestic law enforcement is forbidden without congressional approval.. The folly of mistaking a paradox for a discovery, a metaphor for a proof, a torrent of verbiage for a spring of capital truths, and oneself for an oracle, is inborn in us.- Paul Valery | ||

Why don't people shoot themselves if they are frustrated. This killing other people is insance. That guy at the army base in Texas. If he so didn't want to go to Afghanishta, he should've grown a spine and walked out of military and faced court martial. Or, he should've killed himself. Instead of he chooses to kill innocent people. What a coward. I hope he lives till he is 99 and will be bed ridden in a prison till death. If this girl in Alabama didn't get tenure, it's not the end of the world, or if it was to her, she should've killed herself, not others. | ||

A biology faculty professor opened fire in a faculty meeting which killed 3 faculty members including chair person Gopi.K.Podila. The shooter was harvard educated and she was working as ast.professor in UAH.. Coincidentally 2 yrs back Univ of Northern Illinois shooting happened on the eve of valentine's day just like this one. |
