very very sad....what do these people want and what are they trying to acheive here by killing lawyers who defend terrorists ...that too underworld dons dispensing their justice... ...it's a constitutional right given to every accused and as a society we should honor it whether we like it or not....If we have a problem with terrorists not being convicted its not because of lawyers but our slow moving judicial system and we cannot victimize lawyers....if this is the case with the society where a person cannot be given a lawyer i think we will not be able to prosecute any fugitive or accused hiding in other countries...they will use this as an excuse to shame our judicial system when we can have ram jethmalani defending killers of the prime minister of this country then why cant we have a lawyer defending an accused terrorist | ||

Shahid Azmi, the lawyer who defended 26/11 Indian accused Fahim Ansari, was shot dead in his office on Thursday evening.
