ee telangana fanatics idhe mindset thoti vunte they will lose a lot in future. Already andhra people is not interesed in future investments. Even if the telangana is not given , it will take five to ten years to forget this episode. | ||

This is the second good news for Nellore in last couple of days..... first one is ......... >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> SBQ Steels Limited, promoted by the Chennai-based diversified RKKR group, has sought the state government’s assistance for capacity expansion of its 500,000 tonnes per annum (tpa) steel plant in Nellore district and also for setting up a 300 Mw merchant-•••-captive power plant. The company proposes to expand the plant capacity to 2 million tpa at cost of about Rs 4,500 crore besides setting up a 300 Mw power plant involving an investment of Rs 1,500 crore. A three-member delegation led by SBQ chairman Rajiv Rai called on chief minister K Rosaiah on Wednesday and sought assistance for the Rs 6,000-crore expansion programme. Rai sought additional land, which has already been surveyed and identified, for laying a private railway siding and a corridor from the Krishnapatnam port to lay a conveyor. Stating that the relief and rehabilitation cost involving the acquisition of the identified land would be met by the company, Rai urged the government to notify the land and appoint a commissioner to proceed in this regard. Hindustan National Glass and Industries Limited today proposed to set up its state-of-the-art glass manufacturing complex at Naidupet in Nellore district. Company joint managing director Mukul Somany today called on Chief Minister K Rosaiah and sought cooperation from the government to develop the State into a glass manufacturers' hub. In his representation to the State Government, Somany said that Hindustan National Glass and Industries would set up a mega manufacturing complex to produce Container Glass and Float Glass with an investment of Rs 1,000 crore. He also proposed to create a 'Glass Complex' as another mega project of first container glass plant with an investment of Rs 480 crore where construction will commence by April this year. Construction of the project will be completed by mid-2012. The construction of float glass plant with a production capacity of 600 tons per day will commence in early 2012 and will be completed by 2014. The construction of container glass plant will start by 2014 and production will commence in mid-2016. In the first phase, the container glass plant will produce 450 tons per day of container glass and provide direct and indirect employment to 1,500 people. Jai NTR, Jai Jai TDP |
