Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhara Rao has been maintained a lot of restraint in his words and deeds in the ongoing Telangana agitation, after it has gone into the hands of people and students. However, whenever there is an occasion, KCR tends to lose control over his tongue and make controversial statements. On Saturday evening, KCR made strong remarks against the Andhra leaders who are demanding right over Hyderabad. “They are trying to create needless controversy over the state capital; and are asking where they should have the new capital if the state is divided. In what way are we bothered about your capital? That is your headache. But, don’t lay your claims on Hyderabad,” he thundered. And he made a controversial statement. “Some Andhra leaders are saying that Bhadrachalam belongs to Andhra but it was merged with Telangana. Who wants Bhadrachalam? Take it if you want. But, don’t claim Hyderabad,” he said. |
