Click on "Exceptions" next to the "Load Images Automatically" checkbox. Add www.chalanachithram.com to the "Blocked" list.

I have been doing this for long time but I am loosing the reply functionality. Is there a work around?

Use Adblock Plus plugin for Firefox.
