Movie Maree daarunamga unnattundi...repu eldamanukunna...plan dropped. I think its high time for these big heroes to give chances to young directors. And they need to recognize the importance of them being part of the story and not the story revolving around them. Audience are slowly going back to the days when stories were the heroes of the movie. Single man crowd pulling days were over with NTR and Chiru. | ||

Pawan Kalyan's performance, Nikisha Patel's glamour, cinematography are the definite plus points of the film. Though it seems like Pawan Kalyan has imitated Saikumar's actions style, the larger-than-life action scenes choreographed in Bangkok and in India are definitely tempting. The dialogue modulation is a little loud and of course, the prolonged speeches of the Power Star get quite boring after some time. However, his overall performance is okay. Though a debutant, Nikisha Patel adds oomph to her character. She was able to seduce not only the hero but also the audience with her magnetic charm. Lots of romantic scenes add sufficient spice to the movie. However, the director fails to direct the romantic scenes to perfection. Cinematography, especially in action scenes is excellent and his talent is evident. As far as music is concerned, the re-recording is excellent, but the songs are only so good. One major drawback is the poor screenplay, to be followed by disastrous narration and inconsistent scenes. The blame is conveniently placed on the director. Though this actor-director duo has delivered hits like Khushi, here they fail. The introduction of the hero is too dramatic, even for this genre. Badly inspired by Matrix, the film fails to make sense, as an ordinary Indian police officer nabs a mafia don all the while warding off human-bombs to save the beloved Prime Minister. Several scenes appear very disjointed. The build-up to the hero's image is only damaged by the love scenes. Shriya's item number is a waste and the choreography is atrocious. The director also fails to establish the villain properly as he introduces him as an international mafia don only to make him surrender to a police officer meekly. He ultimately turns into a comedy villain. Watch the film at your own risk. Don't expect too much, even though the big-budget film has a solid casting. Just laugh at the poorly directed action scenes. Don't gasp when a mother gives birth to a child, submerged in water. It should only crack one up when the international mafia don funnily gives into a policeman towing his car away. |
