Sources say that the answer is yes. They reasoned that a statement made by the AICC general secretary M. Veerappa Moily in Gauribidanur in Karnataka on Friday that no action was planned against the Kadapa MP indicated the party stand on the yatra. If the Congress High Command does not take any action against Jagan, then he would be left in a no man's land. If jagan is not expelled then it would be an end to his career since he would not be allowed to grow in the party and the sympathy factor would also slowly reduce towards him. But in case he is expelled from the party, he would get tremendous sympathy from the people. It is for this reason that Balineni made the sharp remarks purposefully yesterday to irritate the high command. | ||
