It seems the source for both movies are the same.. just that Vedam clicked bcoz of the heavy starcast. Of course, Om Shanthi lo characters portrayal kuda sariga ledu.

I think Om Shanthi was released much before Vedam. But, ekkadaa.. copy ani gaani, rendoo okkate concept ani gani talk raaledu.
