I will try to make things clear. Air India flights aithe, Hyd to Mumbai "Air India" connecting flight facility pettadu. I think this is post 2008, or 2009. Flight operated by Air India (International carrier) kabatti technically you are on an international flight till Hyd. Hence customs, luggage etc in Hyd. Domestic flight ki boarding pass etc international terminal lone istaru. You board a bus at an international terminal. Ofcourse ekkado open area ki teesukelli flight ekkistadu. Idi varaku ila undedi kaadu. So you had to get customs done at mumbai, and board a bus with all the luggage, and re-check it. Other airlines like Jet, do not have this kind of connection facility. Kabatti you have to re-check in your luggage at Mumbai. | ||

Ok, I still don't understand how. Evarayina alaanti flight book chesukoni, Mumbai lo domestic airport nundi chekkesthey no customs and immi naa? Nammasakyam kaavadam ledu. BTW, bus nenu kooda ekka internation terminal lo, coz the plane was not at the gate. Idle, neenu 2007 lo vellinappudu JFK-BOM-MAA (Chennai). Customs + Immigration Chennai loney jarigindi. Mumbai lo kooda same terminal undindi, no bus nothing. I think it all depends on the domestic flight from Mumbai to Hyd. Idi kanuka international terminal nundi kaakunda domestic terminal nundi ekkaali antey...yes customs & immi will be in Mumbai, and you have to take a transit bus to go to the domestic terminal. Alaa kaadu, domestic flight kooda international terminal nunche untey, immi & customs will be in Hyd. Bus ekkaalsina pani undadu. An idea is like a Virus. | ||
