Really? We work in situations where I give control of my desktop and the other person does whatever. when I move the mouse the control is back to me. In any case this whole googling while interviewing thing is a little iffy to pull off when you are doing it via some kind of live wire session. My imaginary friend went away for an year in search of his brain! | ||

Guttonkay, if you are still presenting the same slide/app but need to 'quickly' review something, you can put it on pause....we can do that in a meeting, not sure hoe feasible it is in an interview. Also, the interviewer cannot ask the candidate to write code on his notepad application, that is not possible. He has to 'pass the ball' and the other person has to share his notepad/app. | ||

How would this really work? If you are sharing and you pause it, the interviewer would wonder what you are doing I would think. And if the interviewer starts the webex session on his computer and opens a notepad, shares that and asks to write code, how is this pausing thing going to work? During the interview, do you need to share anything? If so, you can share only that app and if you really need to browse something else, you can put the sharing on pause and resume later. | ||

just share the app instead of the entire desktop. so, you can still use google.
