 "Komaram Puli" Spoiling Tollywood Business It has been quite a while since the film "Komaram Puli" has been on the anvil and much to the desperation of the fans of Power star Pawan Kalyan, nothing much is happening when it comes to the release date. Now, the talk in the cine circuit is that "Komaram Puli" is spoiling the Tollywood business. The release dates are not announced and since the expectations are high, many other big budget films are waiting to hear it so that they can plan their releases and ensure box office collections. To be honest, there has not been a proper hit so far this year. "Simha" managed to show some grace and it made a profit of Rs 5 crores. As for the latest releases, Maryada Ramanna is doing well and has scored a commercial success. On the other hand, the small budget movie Snehageetham has been getting a decent response and it is racing towards 50 days. Don Seenu has shown strong reports but the graph is dwindling a bit. Bheemili was another movie which got a decent response. Now, due to the confusion on Komaram Puli's release date, many films have to postpone their release dates and the movies are piling up. In effect, reliable sources reveal that the makers are planning to release the film in 1000 theatres throughout the state. In Andhra Pradesh, there are a total of 1800 theatres. Apparently, we had the largest number of theatres in the country totaling up to 3000 theatres but in the recent past 1200 closed and got converted into marriage halls, commercial complex and other establishments. Now, one can imagine what happens when "Komaram Puli" hits 1000 theatres and if the film does perform like it is being expected then it would be a hard time for the other movies. We are talking only the big budget and big banner flicks so one can imagine what happens to the small budget and medium budget folks.
