Summary: a cargo ship left Thailand in May carrying up to 500 Sri Lankan refugees headed for Canada. The ship has been spotted and now everyone is on alert. Hospitals are preparing for disease, prisons are preparing to hold 200 people, reports people have died on the ship and some may have TB, also fears human traffickers and terrorists may be on the ship. The Navy & RCMP have launched a flotilla to find the ship which is expected to dock today. ------------------------ A B.C. hospital has prepared for a possible influx of Tamil migrants who may require medical treatment when they land on Canadian soil. The condition of the people on board the ship is unknown.
