I was refereing to your comment on back up qb's, may not be good. I brought rodgers into disco just to say, all a player need is a chance to be on the field. For first three years rodgers got few touches.. but last two years, facing a tough home crowd [fillin the big shoe] - he survived. Last season after mcnabb injury, we thought eagles are weak.. but kevin kolb filled the gap more effectively than mcnabb himself... So, my point is - unless a backup gets a chance, it is difficult to judge them.. On you next point, team being strong.. Lets take Jets.. Entha strong team ainappatikee, look at their qb.. and also my dear old delhomme.. pathetic displays.. Favre is expected to issue a press release later in the day, explaining that his surgically repaired ankle has not responded as hoped. Keep in mind that it is still just August 3. Favre could change his mind several times before the start of the season. For now, though, a team that planned on contending for the Super Bowl will have to move on without him. |
