Total six kada brother.. See.. At the end of the 5th day.. the employer cut the 5th piece and gives it to the laborer. Now, the laborer has five 1-inch pieces and the employer is left with one 5-inch bar. At the end of 6th day evening.. instead of cutting the 6th piece.. the laborer exchanges his five 1-inch pieces with the one 5-inch bar from the employer and gets the one 1-inch piece from already-cut pieces. So, from the 6th day onwards.. he gets his piece from those 5 pieces from the employer. So, this way I got.. five 1-inch pieces + one 5-inch piece = 6 pieces. Another brain teaser.. A guy goes to the cloth shop to buy a shirt.. The cost of the shirt is Rs.430. He gives the salesman a Rs.500 note.
