Kapu caste dilemma : Chiranjeevi or YS Jagan? The Kapu caste people in the Coastal Andhra Pradesh seems to be in a dilemma. Except for the Godavari districts where Kapus used to support TDP, they used to support the Congress in the rest of the region. But with the entry of leaders like Chiranjeevi and YS Jagan in the scene, the support varied. Since then, the forward caste Kapus lent its support for Chiranjeevi in the last elections and the backward caste kapus like Balijas supported the Congress (one of the reasons for the defeat of Chiranjeevi in the Godavari district). But during the recent Odarpu yatra, the Kapus (both forward caste and backward caste) were seen coming in good numbers. Though one does not know whether they came there on their own or were 'brought' there by leaders, this is causing heartburn to the Chandrababu, Rosaiah and Chiranjeevi. If everything that we view is plain and fair then YS Jagan surely managed to win over the Kapu caste people in the Godavari districts. Whats Cooking MB will join PRP ????
