TFR stands for Total Fertility Rate, which is the number of children borne by a woman on average. For any population to remain constant, that is, neither increase nor decrease, a woman should bear 2 children on average, both of which must survive long enough to be counted. India's TFR is 2.74 South States: Kerala 1.7, TamilNadu 1.8, AP 2.1,Karnataka 2.3 Hindi States : UP 4.4, Bihar 4.3, Rajasthan 3.7, Jharkhand 3.5, Chattisgadh 3.3,Delhi 2.1,Himachal 2.1 Other States : Assam 2.9, Gujarat 2.8, Haryana 3.0,J&k 2.4, Maharastra 2.2,Orissa 2.2, Punjab 2.2, West Bengal 2.2 The total fertility rates of pakistan is about 3.9 which, to me looks pretty close to the Hindi states group.. I got an idea, How about we kick these states to Pakistan?..appadu Happy ga One Nation, One Language(hindi), One culture (Bollywood) baaga set avudhi.. I guess a picture conveys it better, BeMaru states ela merisipothunnayo : http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_4lRc12hwnjc/TDvDCp9FkSI/AAAAAAAAB1 w/kADNppNjKWM/s1600/nfhs3.png world vs India vs Pakistan google graph: http://www.google.com/publicdata?ds=wb-wdi&met=sp_dyn_tfrt_i n&idim=country:IND&dl=en&hl=en&q=total+fertility+rate+India# met=sp_dyn_tfrt_in&idim=country:IND:PAK&tdim=true Maathru bhasha vegataipoyina mudanastapu jathi manadhi
