Razesh:Is it difficult to direct a movie without any practical experience?
As a guy worked in software companies, I find the filmmaking process similar to that of project management. As a project manager we need to get our work done by teams of various expertise levels. Direction is like project management. Filmmaking has correlation towards SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).

Agreed completely. But, this scenario exists in any project. Whether it be movie or a construction or a software project.. And that is why there is a component called 'Risk Management' as part of the Project Management.
A good director (or a project manager) should be capable of handling unknown risks.. compromising the budgets.. compromising the scheduels.. or compromising the plans (scripts in this case) whichever makes more sense at that point of time. Yetantaav? |
