if u have responsibilities n someone u love is waiting for u to provide food n pay for bills then u would be motivated to goto work even if u see a 50ft wave next to ur home destroying everything on its path....u would still be finding a way to surf through that wave to goto work... | ||

Well, materialistic world never existed during world war period...I mean people never had jobs...or they never got the chance to lead luxury life like buying expensive cars,expensive homes,paying for kids tuition,no expensive restaurants,etc.... They probably had enough money to survive.....People back in 1900's worked hard for their kids to provide em better future.....That's one of the reason world looks so sophisticated today.... But in today's world, there is no point in succeeding in life with everything being inflated, everything overpriced and with all sorts of scam business going on....I forsee a very bad situation...wages decreasing but inflation up 200% which really hurts many families... | ||

Are these really that big issues? Look into history. Less than 100 yrs ago....life was so uncertain. How do you think the people might have felt...during the first world war.....second world war....Partition of Ind/Pak....deseases killing thousands of people ...and so on. Ashton losing motivation is something which would happen to every individual in this strenuous life but that may not be because of doom & gloom news are raise and fall of money market I suppose. Yeah I lost motivation in recent years which leaded to stalled career means no Growth in terms of job responsibilities or in paycheck , if I look back 8 years from this point those days were so enthusiastic planning was part of each day ,think that is what missing now . | ||

ashton .. one practical thing i observed .. when walking, if you can feel 'always' physically the ground , then you are doing fine .. basically if your feet are firmly on the ground, then u r doing fine .. way to practise it is to feel 'always' physically the ground .. No Compromise .. | ||
