reg 10 days..scotland full coverage ke around 4 days padtundi...another day for wales, london etc and 4-5 days for other cities...

This is what my thinking too. London ke easy ga two to three days avutundi anukunta. Scotland, like you said, will take atleast three days. So, I think 10 days for UK is reasonable.

Also, another thing is, we have decided to do these trips every year, so one country or region every year. May be France and Italy next year, like that.

True, we could pick and choose countries as well instead of just saying all UK. Our intent is to stay at these places for the required amount of time to see things and places at leisure. Just so this becomes a relaxing trip as well. Thats all.

Rebel:

US citizens ki visa restrictions undavu anukunta. My in-laws are here and they will be joinging us in this trip. We have to get required visas for them.

baba schengen visa UK ki pani cheyadu(for h1 holders ki)..UK ki separate visa kavali..its not feasible to take 2 visa's...oka sari UK cover cheste migatavi schengen visa tiskuni cover cheyochu..

You may already know this...but in case
Instead of buying two-way airline tickets from usa....you can buy multiple city airline tickets for same price as well. Example
You can buy airline ticket from usa to London...on your return trip...you will comeback to usa from say Paris or someother city in Europe.

In 10 days...Why you want to visit just UK (Engl, scotland, ireland, wales)?
Why Not countries like Engl,France, Belgium?
or
Why Not countries like Austria, Switzerland, Italy?
Even within UK also...you will be travelling a lot in those 10 days

10 days is needed if you wanna cover whole UK(England, scotland, wales) with kids.

That was my thinking too. Yes, we want to cover whole UK, not just England.

if you wanna go your self buy the UK train card. You can catch a train and go anywhere. similarly London underground has a pass.

Seinfeld:

bro perosnal kakapothe adugutha, honeymoon or newly married trip aa idi?

my sincere advice is dont go through any travel agencies. evari abhiprayam vallaid anuko.. but if u ask me, i would say plan urself. danilo unnatha feel ee travel agency lo undadu.

planning is tough I agree, but daniki unna advantages are different. nekeu ishtam vachina place lo istham vachinatha sepu undochu. no rush. food time ani thokka time ani follow avvalasina avasaram ledu. on top of it, if newly married or honeymoon pissa romantic untadi.

inko advantag eenti ante minimum 1000 bucks u can save if u plan by urself. but money gurinchi kaadu aa feeling ee different.backpacking chesko enjoy...

I never ever go with travel agency

Second honeymoon time kooda aipoyindi tammudu. :-) Iddaru pillalto veltunnaamu. Anduke rush voddu ani thinking. Your suggestion is good. I will look into planning myself and see if it can work.

Just for UK , ten days not worth brother. Kids Lekuntay...it will not be any rushing. Even visa requirements are the same for one country or several countries. From Engl to Paris..it takes about 3 hours in train(Eurostar). Paris is worth a visit, if you have 10 days time for Europe. Brussels in Belgium kooda baaganay untundhi. There are several packages available....just search for it. England, France, Belgium ki ten days more than enough.
Last year...we went on a 2 week tour..we visited Italy, switzerland and austria as well. But Italy is far away from UK.

Thanks for responding, sorry I stepped away for a couple of hours. Going from USA for 10 days. Only UK because I think adding more would just rush things which we did not want to do.
