It may sound a stupid question but I need a proper answer I know some planes needs refill when travelling a long route and Volcano lava ash in Europe has stopped flights from USA to India via Europe. But why does majority of air traffic fly only through Europe and not Africa ? Is it because of following reasons or other ? Africa does not have good relations with other countries Airports are not equipped to handle heavy air traffic Safety / Terrorism issue Petroleum is expensive in Africa |
