Remember, the S-video or RCA video cable has maximum through-put for 480 pixels. So, if you have standard definition TV, it is OK. If you have HDTV and want to make full use of it, you need to run either VGA or HDMI/DVI cable. Most of todays computers have DVI-out, so just run the DVI or DVI-to-HDMI cable from pc to tv. | ||

One end is black 3.5mm jack that fits in your iPod or laptop headphone port. Other end is pair of RCA audio cables (red/white) that can go to your TV or receiver. You notice that 3.5mm pin is much thinner than the RCA pins. | ||

VGA passes only video from pc to tv. You need to run separate 3.5mm minijack to RCA cable. Onkyo lo enno models unnayi. Budget wise best bet is Onkyo Complete package which also comes with an upconverting DVD player, Speakers & a receiver. HTS-908 model is good.
