Always ask them to send copy of the i129, labor ETA, I140 , 485 file everything before submitting. Make global statement to company, attorney saying no application should be submitted without your confirmation mail. this approach i took when i got screwed royally and lost 3 years in green card. | ||

Most of the immigration attorneys and/or their legal assistants are bunch of idiots and scumbags.. Most of you know I recently got my H1 extention approved. However, they missed my wife's H4. They only did my extention and totally missing out dependent. I have two more weeks until my current H1 expires. Hopefully this should be fixable. So dont think once you sent all your paper work, your job is done. Make sure the you see the paperwork what they will be sending to USCIS. My close friend got screwed up recently. They put wrong pay scale in his LC and his LC is denied and now he has to leave the country as his 6+1yrs of H1 is almost over. Do keep sending emails to the attorney on the update. Do not call them as they wont answer to the phone calls but they do give prompt response to your emails. If they dont respond to your emails, do let them know that no response is totally unacceptable as you are their client and you are paying them at an hourly rate of atleast 250$. In this db, there's always someone watching you!! |
