Story: Raghupati Raghava Rajaram(Balakrishna) is a doctor during british reign.Britisher's kill his entire family and the doctor becomes revolutionary titled as Okka Magadu.While declaring independence Britishers ask indian leaders to surrender Okka Magadu along with some other indian revolutionaries as Prisoner of War.They tourcher him for 60 years and Okka Magadu returns home expecting the home laqnd as he dreamed earlier.But the things are other way around where there is no value for life.So he starts his mission to clean the society teaching the value of life to the perverted leaders,media and other irresponsible professionals.How he progresses is the rest of the story. Highlights: Balakrishna has done a dual role in this film as Old man Okka Magadu and young leader of masses Veera Venkata Satyanarayana swamy alias Satyam babu.He looks at his best with neat hair stlye and great costumes in the young charecter.Old charecter has a special makeup which didn't suit him well.His performace is Good. Simran's getup&performance as the old lady is good but her dubbing is awkward in emotional scenes. Nisha Kothari & Anushka didn't has much scope to perform.They are only meant for songs and double meaning dialogues. Music(Mani Sarma) and Lyrics(Chandrabose) are of top class. Costumes,sets(Anand Sai) are good. Sidelgihts: YVS Chowdary is successful only in showing Balakrishna with a neat hairdo and designer costumes.But he failed completely is a writer&director.The story is cliche.Screenplay is silly.Nothing is convincing.Nothing is original in the movie,Even a kid can say it is a kichidi of of Sardar Paparayudu,Bharateeyudu,The Patriot,Kill Bill in the cinema.Except a couple of scenes the movie tests your patience.
