Lovetilludie:laxman ki emayindhi
He injured his left hand and needed 10 stiches ... though he might be named in the squad its doubtful that he wud be match fit. I can't picturize SA without Arthur ... I bet there wud be chaos in their camp which can only be good for India ... lol. |

There is a big void in the test XI with the absence of Dravid, VVS, and Yuvi. Yuvi's absence is a blessing in disguise as his test batting skill is mediocre. Dravid and VVS those are big shoes to fill ... Vijay easily walks into one of the slot. Who would the other batsman be? Is it too early for Kohli? Pujara and Pandey are risky candidates against a high profile SA seam attack ... but then when would you play them? Rohit Sharma's chance for redemption? Raina? Kaif too needs a look since he scored a bagful of runs in the domestic league. It's nice to see that the selectors have a headache trying to fill the spots and that can only mean good news for Indian cricket in the long run. My starting XI would be: Sehwag, Gambhir, Vijay, SRT, Kohli, Dhoni, Raina/Rohit, Ojha (Tyagi if seamer friendly conditions), Bhajji/Mishra, Ishant, Zak. Your thoughts? |
