No doubt, Favre played a good game sunday.... but his over enthusiastic plays are costing his team a lot in crucial periods of the season. 1) 2 days ago, it happened. 2) Last year, he did not perform when it mattered the most. Last 5 or 6 games lo, ye okkati gelichinaaa, jets would have been in play off. Instead... favre throwed 2 or 3 TDs and throwed 8 or 9 interceptions. 3) 2007 lo, Giants tho, season ended on his interception. 4) 2005 or so, play off's lo, eagles tho, he did not perform at all. Still his team stayed in the game and that game went to over time. Packers won the toss and received the ball. Within 30 seconds in overtime, he throwed an interception for a TD. Even the hard core haters of favre also did not like it. | ||

hmmm...i would have supported them had their defense not played like scoundrels....too nasty hits esthunar esp. But, I have to say, some of these refusals to run were almost comical. I was at a game this year against Cincinnati when he rolled out and had about 30 yards of open space -- no kidding, 30 yards. He had so much open space that he could not help himself... he did cross the line of scrimmage by a good 8 or 9 yards. But then he seemed to realize what he was doing ("Hey, wait a minute, I'm RUNNING!"), and he panicked, and he actually stepped back and THREW THE BALL. It was pure insanity -- the officials were so boggled by the maneuver that it took them a second or two to throw the flag. It was one of the weirder plays I've seen. | ||
