Andhra Pradesh was among the top three domestic investment destinations in 2009, according to Assocham Investment Meter (AIM) study. Out of the total investme-nts announced in the country during 2009, Assocham says AP received 8.1 per cent. The state had recorded investment plans to the tune of Rs 1,29,157 crore. As per the annual AIM assessment report, the total investment plans of India Inc increased significantly from Rs 13,80,099 crore in 2008 to Rs 15,94,203 crore in 2009.
