Its always a transfer when you are jumping from one employer/univ to another, iff status remains the same. Ex: H1 from Comp A to Comp B H1 [Or] F1 from Univ A to Univ B F1 [Or] L1 from Comp A to Comp B L1 .. and so on.. But H1 from Comp A to Univ A F1 aithe, Change of Status [COS] antar.. And, transfer requires a new H1 application. Only diff is you wont be counted against the current H1B quota. In this db, there's always someone watching you!! | ||

Better .. apply only for the time left in 6yrs .. i.e. only apply for 1 year ...as you already eate 5 years. If you apply for 3 yrs now .. you will 100% get a querry .. requesting for info on can this be possible ..flease exflain ... You will be asked ..if you have a green cerd in process .. like Labor approval .. I-140 .. approval ... etc ..etc .. you u don't have all these .. just apply for 1 year .. santhakam .. | ||
