Tammud.. I94 dictates the stay but is not by company. Ante okko company maarutunna koddi okko I94 number raadu.. Only thing changes is validity. Company A I94 some A123456 and expiry is aug15,2012 anuko Company B ki apply cheshinappudu, Same I94 number ostadi ie, A123456 and expiry might differ. [Say A meeda already 2yrs panjeshindu anuko.. Then B I94 dates would be 3year fromt he date he applied. Ledoo A meeda already 4 years panjeste, inko 2yrs ostadi] However, if you leave the country and come back, you get a new I94 number, expiry being your visa or H1 petition ending date. AFAIK, your Old I94 based on which H1 COS occured is no longer valid. Your current I94 is still with Old company(on re entry) and you cannot directly join company B with out a visa stamp or an ammendment petition based on approved application. 10k post : why do u want to do pmp? | ||

My friend has the following question . Please advice. I copied his mail. " I have H1 with company A and working with Company A. I applied H1 transfer to Company B and got approved ,but havn't joined company B immediately. In the meanwhile I travelled to India and came back. now I want to join company B .
