Underwater lakes and rivers are marvels of nature. You can see plenty of them in the volcanic ridges of pacific and Indian oceans. A river under sea itself is an amazing concept. You see those kind of density based gradients of atmosphere and compositions of matter in Jupiter where there is actually a lake of liquid metal aluminium. Nature is always flabbergasting.
