There are many good things in the write-up, but somethings can be avoided.

Like

1.Referring to Muslims as Nizams would have been better, this article hurts muslims sentiments and ego. Calling them Nizams would atleast put the blame on the Nizam Kings and not the whole community.

2.Last paragraph will hurt the sentiment and ego of telanganites

3.To convince others, sometimes it is better to avoid stating facts, you have to stroke their ego.

500 years may be a negligible amount in the history of mankind but is sufficient to create significant divisions in the Telugu race especially when people are intent on magnifying the differences rather than accentuating on the commonalities. Did we as people , ever try to imagine how the telugu people are like before the muslim and British invaded this land.? Did we have any differences in the way we spoke or what we eat or how we lived? One set of same people lived for most part of the time under the barbaric rule of Muslim invaders which significantly changed the language , the food and the culture as a whole and the other set of people lived under the tyranny of British colonialism too experienced significant changes.

Inspite of the tyranny of British colonialism whose rule mostly ran with a profit intent was progressive and ended up building an army of English speaking clerical staff among the local population. Today it is undeniably fact that English language and progressive outlook of British rule transformed the medieval India into a modern India. While the Muslim rule was mostly barbaric and pushed the people couple of centuries back and killed any modern outlook.

We cannot predict how Hyderabad State would be today had it be left alone. But given the state of people in Hyderabad State at the time of liberation from the Razakars/NIZAMS ,one could only imagine what the Hyderabad State would be today. Donot be fooled by the arguments of the natural resources available in the land. The largest river Brahmaputra flows through ASSAM . Narmada flows through Madhya pradesh. We can all see how their development is today. Hyderabad State would in all probability would have fallen in the vicious circle of poverty and Naxalism. The Nawabs of Lucknow or Muslim ruled princely states should be taken as reference to guage where Hyderabad would be today. The benefits of staying together for 50 years should not be forgotten after coming so long . The World is not fair today neither will be tomorrow. The rich will try to rob the poor and is nothing new. But how large the middle class has grown should be looked at. You may not willing to accept such a scenario.

The divide of our Telugu race has been constant curse. Each new wave of unemployed politicians gives new targets to old prejudices. Prejudice and contempt against each other ,cloaked in the pretense of regional neglect are brewed. They have nearly destroyed us in the past. They plague us still. They fuel the fanaticism of terror. They torment the lives of millions on the path of progress . These obsessions cripple both those who are hated and, of course, those who hate, robbing both of what they might become.

Leaders who indulge in human trafficking and exporting own people as slaves to GULF countries(KCR and TRS ) , leaders who act as pimps to the visiting Congress leaders in NJ/NY and involve in forgery (Yashki) , the leaders who indulge in worst kind of political corruption (Lagadapati) , leaders who come to power through undemocratic means (CBN) , call themselves the leaders. Its shame when the KCR daughter commenting that most of the peons in offices are Hyderabad are from telangana when his own father sent telangana labour to rot in gulf countries. Shame on these leaders. Should I be surprised when people rally around these leaders? May be not. Its pity that destiny of people and state are determined by these leaders.

Progress of state and people are relative. You should be in Bihar or Chattisgarh to appreciate the relative progress of Andhra Pradesh. You should be in Srikakulam to appreciate the development of Warangal or Karimnagar.

None of above facts are in support of United Telugu people. It is a perspective on the things .The state and many of its people including Telanganites were on a path of progress inspite of severe handicaps of democracy and social inequalities. Today many of telangana people are educated and are in good positions around the world is because of the united Andhra Pradesh. The numbers are on the rise.

There is a perception that Muslims are anti progress. They have a different set of mind unfortunately. Telangana people have inherited a lot from our Muslim brothers. When Telangana state is formed , Andhra and rayalaseema forms the lower riparian state. It would not be able to take any more water than is available today. Again donot be fooled by the rhetoric of your leaders. For a minute think about how better we are today than the it actually could have been. Be happy for all good happened to us.

You are all in state where you cannot listen to any wise talk. I guess that too comes from centuries of Muslim rule. All the best in you Telangana State.
