Vakkapodi:mama, w2 every employee ki vastundi kada end of the year? since i am on 80/20 basis, i get payed only when the client pays. its not a direct deposit. they send the cheques by mail
W2 andarikee vastundi. Adi for tax purposes kosam. Nenu adigedi - Are you getting paid a fixed amount (like in $65K per year, $80K per year) or %age of billing rate. If your agreement is %age of billing rate, the best thing you could do is make sure you get paid as soon as your vendor pays. See if you can find out if your vendor paid the invoices. Good Luck. |

Guru:vokkapodi tamud, 80-90% desi employers are having cash flow issues currently. If you have more than 1 layer, its always a problem to receive payments on time. I heard cases where even the prime vendor is not paying on time. I know it is tough but Sit tight and hope that situation improves..employer meeda complaint isthey koorchunna komma ni narukkodame anukuntunna..
i understand, that's why i am trying to stay calm...kani emi chestanu, first 1 week dealy unde, then 10 days, 15 days and now almost 1month that after receving the payment from the vendor. vendor kooda pay cheyatledu on time. i gave up on that. but still atleast my employer should pay promptly after receiving the payments |

agree with Guru. AFAIK situations like these are quite normal. Be patient and wait for your moment when recovery happens. |

It depends on your payment terms. Are u a w2 employee or 80/20 contractor with ur employer? if u r w2 employee, irrespective of receipts of the monies from the client, ur employer is obligated to pay u on time. If u r w2 employee, U can inform labour dept anonymously and they will send a note to the employer for compliance within a certain period. If ur employer wants to continue in the business, he will be forced to settle the accounts. |
