Good trends this year for IIT's... IIT had 26 fellowships offered by the top 6 schools in the world.. MIT and berkeley topping the list with bursaries in excess of 21K as scholarship. Mayank Goel and Sisir Avadhanula from the Chem eng dept have offered the millikan scholarship at Caltech this year.......AWESOME.....go Madras Go..... | ||

This is as of dec 1 2009..... On dec 3 th, 6 more students were offered >25 Lpa...by GS, Morgan and Deutsche Bank...with the highest being 28 lakhs per annum by one Mr.Asmit Tiwari...by BCG. There were 12 students that were offered 25Lpa this year....last year it was zero. | ||

IITM has placed all its students already...the median pay has jacked up like crazy to 10LPA...and highest being the comp sci BTech grad....Alok Jain and another BS in Electrical engineering....Arvind Vaidyanathan..a whopping 21Lpa by Google Inc and Barclay's Capital respectively |
