If you read Girglani commission report that was initiated by mr CBN you will know the details. i dont understand why KCR is brought in to equation every time, he has clearly said a Dalit or backward caste will be a CM once Telangana comes in to existance. I dont like KCR as well but whether or not we like KCR gets the credit for the formation of Telangana(if). OH, I 100% agree with this..but this happened around early 70s or late 60s...worst case until early 80s.. after that the opportunities got dried up in the Govt sector or public sector.. this does not mean injustice was not done. You have already provided the complete list ...I will add one more to the list.. ECIL -- okappudu ikkada janalani ramante raaledu..anduke mana AS Rao saaru...motham valla brothers techukonnadu antaru...and if you see ECIL you will know that it has happened.. mama...I will tell you wats happenin here....in desham we have prejudices based on religion n caste....when it comes to religion there is a virtual wall between people of different faiths....this wall aint going to crumble for ever...agree?? Now coming to castes we dont have that wall yet...cause except kamma vs kapu in some places like ijayawada(which i observed from this db) there aint anywhere in the state where there is wall between different castes....there are prejudices here n there but there aint a wall ...U know why??? cause there was never a fight for a seperate state based on caste....atleast thats wat I think... Success is a relative term, nature is survival at the fittest and I recognize that, but we are past that primitive state I guess. Flip - the other side of the coin --------------------------------- Your family lived in telangana area for hundreds of years, you endured the hardships under the rule of Nizams and your family for generations together suffered at their hands and the hands of feudal land lords. You work hard in the parched land and cultivate to feed your family and just survive. You see a river going by your lands just few miles away and have small canals to draw water and cultivate your lands. There is a big movement against the Nizam's your family as well as many others who were oppressed rise against the rule. You saw your uncles, friends one last time and never to return again. You get independence from the tyranny of the Nizams and hoping things will be better. The government draws up some plans for the development of the state and you think life is going to be better. Big brother wants to club with your state as they dont have infrastructure in their capital. You still hope things are better because they agreed to take care of your aspirations and concerns. 10 years go by you see your share of water going away, your share of jobs going away,no schools, colleges being built and then you revolt. Big Mother steps in again and says sorry, we will take care of this, form special rules and guarantee constitutionally. You start seeing some change, jobs are little easier to come by, some development is happening. Big brother is very pissed off he revolts bend Mother and the constitutional guarantees are scrapped. You are left to fend for yourself. Big Brother, having water and well developed educational system has an upper hand over you, they flood your home, take your jobs that you would have otherwise got, continue to build up educational institutions and other water projects in his area denying you water and opportunities. Sounds familiar - Nizam did exactly the same thing. you equate Nizams rule with Big Brothers rule and revolt. Coming to your story tammi, Your parents came here and settled to give you better future as any parent would and that is understandable. They came here to give you a 'better future' here in telangana lot of people do not know what is their tomorrow going to be forget about 'Better future'. Many of the people who are here in Hyderabad still have ties and interests what about 'us' for us this is home, you came in to our home and denied us opportunities.
