well that depends from school to school...I am thankful for my insti to have had given me the best education I could dream of....gave me the privilege to compete and learn at the highest level with out imposing any restraint on me.....I spent more time in the library than the class during the 8 years of my serious education spanning from UG to PhD | ||

I agree. There is a strong reason why our elders behaved like that. If we pursue wild life photography as farhan did, we will die of starvation in India. Its a sad state of affairs. Even for those paths we were forced to choose, we dont get proper practical and innovative experiences/education and chances during college times. Its all book reading. cinemalo vishiyam takkuva...hype ekkuva..not even close to the novel.....the novel was a genuine depiction of the life of an IIT'an...he captures all aspects of the campus life.....ee cinema chetha in that aspect......There has never been an instance where....I have come across a student who felt that the IIT curriculum was outdated....infact every 3 years they bench mark it to stand on par with MIT etc....the only difference being that they make sure that passing an exam is as tough as it can get.....not by including material but by making sure that the exams are exteremely open ended | ||

Mother of all deliveries - 3 Idiots Like I said in my thread, its an idiotic movie. Surprisingly 99.99% of Hindi movie lovers are liking it. I really don't know why? I expected at least Telugu movie goers won't like going by their exposure. Take a look at Happy Days and compare 3 Idiots. We rejected Vajram (remake of malayali movie spatikam), vasu on the similar lines in fact they were made well. Coming to stupidity of the movie, everybody knows that American were fooled by Russians when American spent millions on zero gravity pen while Russians used pencil. my rating 3.5/5 it is well worth watching......it has some genuinely funny moments but more often it slips into too much melodrama when it could have done away with ....the scenes before climax are not necessary...also there are too many potty jokes which are very juvenile... couple of scenes which stand out are the speech scene by a guy trying to speak hindi....howlarious..the best scene of the movie the scenes involving sharman joshi's family actors did their best ....amir's introduction and the next couple of scenes where he tries to hard make you feel that he is miscast but slowly eases into the role...sharman joshi is good ...madhavan has not much of a role the guy who played chatur ramalingam ...best in the movie boma irani's role reduced to a caricature and still has the hangover of munnbhai MBBS...kareena nothing much to say | ||

3 Idiots.....My Rating (5/5) - Excellent Script - Terrific Direction - Brilliant Screenplay - Dialogues comedy riot...very very humorous... - Actors Performances - AAMIR Rocked, Harman Joshi great great, Boman Irani was perfect - Kareena very small role - did well - negatives - Madhavan was little mis-fit....to the role & couple of scenes in the 2nd half were little artificial... - Cinematography was wonderful in the 2nd Half.. - 3 Salutes to Rajkumar Hirani, Vinod Chopra & Aamir Khan, Chethan Bhagath....
