In any case we shouldnt worry about less MPs for small telugu states since the total telugu MPs is still 42 and they should fight unitedly wherever possible for each other's benefit....

That is if Seemandhra is fighting for project funds in rayalseema, Telangana MP's will support it...similarly if Telangana is asking for funds for projects in Khammam or Mahbubnagar, Andhra MP's should support

One of the arguments I heard which I felt reasonable was that if the state divides the MP's strength will reduce to 17 for Telangana and 25 for Seemandhra. So each of the states will lose voice in Loksabha for convincing the centre in getting funds or whatever.

But if we allow for peaceful division with friendly atmosphere between the wo regions, its possible that MPs belong to different states but fight in Loksabha with one voice as Telugu People for each other's development.

That is if Seemandhra is fighting for project funds in rayalseema, Telangana MP's will support it...similarly if Telangana is asking for funds for projects in Khammam or Mahbubnagar, Andhra MP's should support. In this way though we belong to different states, we can maintain the unity as Telugu MPs. As the number of Telugu MPs is still the same 17+25=42
