I dont expect KCR to do anything for Telangana. He will continue the practices of CBN and YS of helping own party leaders with public money. There are some very backward areas in MBNR, Adilabad, Karim Nagar, Nlg that need drinking water to begin with and irrigation water in the long run. With separate state, inspite of corruption and the same evils that are there now, at least the govt will be more focused on regional issues which would have happened if there were regional and district committees in the last 50 years even in united state. Telangana will be Progressive and Technology driven and there will be transparency at each step. It will system driven rather than people driven. A - District level Committees will be formed to assess the issues,improvements needed. Technical committees will be established for each areas. Keeping in view the arid conditions of Telangana Water Users Associations are strengthened and developed with a view to tide over the water issues in long term and short term. B. We the people will have more say in the way the govt functions. just few things, there will be a lot more ------------------------------------------ 1. Declare the assets of all the leaders upfront. 2. Identify the benami owners of the lands around hyderabad and districts around it and apply the rule of the land. Land Ceiling act will be strictly enforced. The details of the land distribution will be put online for transparency. 3. Technical and expert committees for every area in the state. All the information is put online so that it is transparent and 'truthful' not marketing. 4. All public spending will be put online, everything is transparent. no underhand dealings. 5. Identify areas of development for example - old city needs real infrastructure upgrade, living conditions are horrible spend funds to improve - NTPC needs major upgrade for power, increase power producing capacity - Singarei colleries need upgrade of equipment to be provided - Revive RTC services to long distances, private operators kicked out.upgrade buses etc in comparision to private services(already done to an extent) - Implement the technical committee recommendations on Nagarjuna sagar left canal, will irrigate lakhs of acres in telangana as originally planned. - desilt Nizamsagar, upgrade the dam to provide better ayacut - complete Sriramsagar 2nd phase to increase ayacut - Complete Bheema project to get 30TMC of water for telangana as agreed in Krishna water river agreement. - rebuild, strengthen local tanks, dams etc created hundreds of years ago. This will generate local employment too and serve the purpose of storage of water. - get central funding for power projects, renewable(solar based,wind power), low cost fast breed nuclear reactors. - IMPLEMENT THE PRANAHITA-CHEVELLA project in phases after reevaluation with technical committes - develop tourism spots in Telangana including religious places. - better representation for under-privileged.
