you can actually file for your GC even before you start working for the employer, 1. kick start that process if you know your employer(who you will join), you should get the labor in 90days. Due to the current situation if anything happens then atleast you are safe with your old employer. 2. once you get your LCA, join the company and file I140 with them, you might get some RFE if your old employer withdraws the old petition but you can cover that with a good response from an attorney immigrationvoice.org is a good site you will find more details there | ||

- get a new PERM labour - file new I40 - can port your priority date to the new application. make sure your current employer does not withdraw your I140 before your new application is filed. that is the big catch- why will your current employer not cancel you current LCA/I140 if you leave him | ||

vedava employer....makes me run around for my own cheques despite receiving payment from the vendor 20 days ago...client does net 60 days payment...ante by the time i receive it is almost 3 months... in addtion to that , they dont respond to the emails or phone calls... here's my situation sep 09 lo another 3 year extension vacchindi I-140 approved Priority Date - Jan 08 Question - if i transfer to another company, can i port my Priority Date to the new company ?
