She saw herself boarding an Air India flight No 101 to New York and was part of the 46 contingent of sailors. Suddenly while in mid-air somewhere in Geneva, smoke filled inside the aircraft leaving the co-passengers running helter-skelter. The Air India flight comprising of 106 passengers and the 11 crew members crashed near the summit of Mont Blanc in the Alps, leaving all the 117 people dead. Swati also recollected the fact that she saw noted Indian personality, Dr Homi Jehangir Bhabha, in the same flight who was on his way to Vienna."
