In my views these are the facts that would have come to T-Medhavulu regarding T-separation 1. Increase in wealth by growing NRI's 2. Growing popularity and establishment of MNCs. 3. Utilization of Falaknama Palace Jewelry. 4. Bargaining Krishna & Godavari Waters 5. Hyderabad Real Estate. So T-medhavulu were looking for a political scapegoat and KCR was obvious choice or self-declared choice. YSR's strategy in 2004 1. Exploiting KCR by alluring separate state, which obviously won't happen at least he won't make it happen. 2. Thereby securing all then TDP's anti-incumbency votes. 3. Finally, kicking off KCR. KCR's luck 1. Desperate CBN re-using the YSR's 2004 strategy. 2. To corner congress cBN making all the impossible and unacceptable promises for T-separation without properly consulting ground level party-men. 3. CBN's Lack of vision for future once the state splits, i.e., with what face TDP MLS approach Andhra people? CBN never expected that Cong. would easily concede to KCR. 4. For KCR, OU student's revolt, which made him continue his fasting otherwise would have to face fierce death in the hands of students. It looks Congress HC had been misinformed by YSR lead AP congress.
