First listen tarvata avg ga vunnayi songs. As somebody said, VVV cinemalu paatlau antha goppaga vundavu listening ki. Between DSP and MS, I think DSP is better now if you only consider songs. MS is still the best in BGM. MMK baane kottadu MD ki BGM, he is only good for RM mvies anyway. Manisarma's best songs done anukuntunna. Mahesh - Mansharma combo matram super. | ||

I go with DSP .. when it is between directors of today in TFI .. DSP more frequently dishes out sensible music .. Mani also comes up with good music .. but it is very periodical .. and he does not have a special mani mark other than those bland mass songs ! given a choice between the two, i am sure many would pick DSP for their film .. the kind of films they are doing is an indication of their status .. mani sharma does films for second rung and third rung heroes also .. Here is my review (On a scale of 5): 1. Shambho Shiva Shambho - 3.5: Album's first song starts on a good note. I guess this will be the INTRO song. Lot of scope for good dance movements. I am curious to see how Jr will come up for "damarukam" beat that comes in between. 2. Chandrakala - 2.5: It sounded more like a Jr & Mani song. Routine number with no great lyrics or music. Will have to see how it works on repeated listening. 3. Pilla Naa Valla Kaadu - 3.5: Very catchy and foot tapping music. Mika and Suchitra did well. Funny lyrics will make it install hit. I couldn't stop laughing when i first heard it (In a good way). 4. Chary - 3.5 - Another instant hit. Unexpected pick of the album. Picturization chaala funny gaa vundochu. Jr did an OK job. Lady singer voice and temp was also good. I liked the way she asks "Where is that?" 5. Neethone - 3.0 - I was expecting a good melody at this stage. But this one barely stands as an average number. No great lyrics either. A good melody at this stage would have helped the album immensely. 6. Assalaam Valekhum - 3.0 - We are down to the last number in the album and no item song ??? That's strange!! Baba Sehagal did a good job. This one also has lot of scope for Jr to shake his body. I guess this will be the last song in the movie. So masses can expect some good steps. 7. Shambho Shiva Shambho (Remix) - Don't know why DSP comes up with a mandatory remix in every album these days. But this one is really bad. Govinda's partner song style lo copy kottaru. Orginal version (#1) was much better than remix. Final Analysis: 3.25/5 Even though DSP comes up with another good album he couldn't reach the benchmark that he set with his last album i.e ARAY2. One reason could be that, there are no great melodies in the album. Absolutely nothing in it for SAAHITYAM lovers. For some reason they struck to fast and peppy genre through out the album. Album might go well with youth (May be that's why i liked it.. hahaha... i can guess your reaction  ) So save it My picks: Pilla naa valla kaadu, CHARI, Shambho Shiva If god doesn't like the way I live, let him tell me, not you | ||
