Controversial priest Dollar Seshadri will back to his duties in Tirumala temple, following a Supreme Court order on Tuesday. The Supreme Court, while acting on a special leave petition filed by Seshadri, lifted the stay order issued by Andhra Pradesh High Court on his extension of services in the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams. "I will resume my duties from Wednesday," Seshadri said. The High Court earlier issued interim stay orders on the extension of his tenure in the TTD, following a petition filed by Bejawada Govind Reddy, who alleged that Seshadri was allegedly Involved in the missing of gold dollars of the temple. Seshadri has been an inseparable part of the temple activities, because of his proximity with the powers-that-be. |
