Wondering what the link between two places is? Well, Vikarabad happens to be rich in minerals like Quartz, Feldspar, Limestone etc. Since quite sometime, a lobby of greedy mining businessmen are trying to remove the assistant collector Revu Mutyalaraju who has stood firm to stop their activities. It seems that they tried to influence even a noted minister in the cabinet but before the minister could take action, the Obulapuram controversy exploded. So now, it is heard that the minister has asked the group to just stay quiet and let things settle and nothing much can be done for now. Meanwhile, Mutyalaraju, the topper in 2007 IAS batch is a young man who is said to be having the support of senior bureaucrats. Apparently, they are said to be keen to put an end to this mining crooks and their illegal activities to protect the region from further devastation. Good going officers!!! GA news kaani |
